For the fifth time now!

It has already been the fifth national edition of the Young Car Mechanic contest. The initiative has become a fixed element of the events’ calendar and every year it attracts new candidates and trainees of mechanics, to fight for the title of the best Young Car Mechanic!

–Together we create, support, deliver – these words are really close to us. Young Car Mechanic contest is the confirmation of this slogan. Together with our suppliers, leading manufactures from the automotive industry, we support young mechanics in their development and education process, striving to make their dreams come true. The contest itself, but also the „Young HR” programme are really important undertakings from the point of view of Inter Cars – said Filip Hryniewicki, Sales Director at Inter Cars SA.

Taking into consideration the current pandemic situation in the world, the organizers of the contest were forced to realize the whole undertaking in line with the strictest safety procedures - health and safety of all the participants was the most important!

The best young mechanic of 2021 is Łukasz Pajor, representing Mechanical Schools Complex in Nowy Sącz . named after Tadeusz Tański, and it is he who will be representing Poland in the International Finale. Second on the podium was Łukasz Duk from Secondary Schools Complex of Jan Paweł II in Radzyń and third was Łukasz Mazek from Schools Complex in Piaseczno.

– I am really happy that I managed to win. For me it is not only a distinction, but also a chance. i am sure that victory in the national contest will have influence on development of my career. I shall do all that I can to represent our country proudly in the international finale of the contest – said Łukasz Pajor just after his winning, best Polish Young Mechanic of the year 2021 in Poland. 

– It is really important for the young people to be able to develop their passions and obtain new skills. Inter Cars company understands that perfectly and supports us in our daily work, so that we are able to help pupils develop their career. The shape of our industry depends a lot on how we will support the students in their development – said Jarosław Adamczyk, the teacher of the Winner in 5th edition of the National Young Car Mechanic contest.

Organization of the whole undertaking could not take place if it weren’t for the support of companies, that just , like Inter Cars care about development of the young employees in the automotive industry. And so, the Strategic Partners of the national edition of the finale were: Bosch, Castrol, ContiTech, Elring, Febi, Man+Hummel, Meyle, Motoremo, Schefler, Valeo, ZF Aftermarket and EU ERASMUS+ programme.

Young Car Mechanic is an international contest for the students of technical schools and automotive industry schools. Its main aim is promotion of a positive image of a mechanic among young people, exchange of experience and methods of learning and teaching, as well as finding young talents of mechanics and car servicing.

Pupils from secondary schools cooperating with Inter Cars within the Young HR programme were invited to the contest.
