The latest General Meeting of the Members of Association of Distributors and Manufacturers of Automotive Spare Parts (SDCM) brought numerous changes, organizational and personal ones. One of them hass been the appointment of the new President of the Board and a change of his role. The new President of SDCM is Krzysztof Soszyński, long-standing Vice-President of the Board of Inter Cars SA, who will be supervising realization of the strategy of the Association. The new President has been appointed for one term of office.
– Appointment of the President for a single term of office is a very good idea. This way it will be the easiest to keep maximum conciliarity. My task, among other things, will be providing maximum possible help to the Operating Officer, who will take the burden of Operational Management – said Krzysztof Soszyński.
– I am sure that COO, i.e., Tomasz Bęben, is the right person. Using the support of the Board, Members of the Association and Honorary President Alfred Franke he is fully prepared to work on this position in SDCM. Especially, that he has legal education and has been a Legal and Industrial Director in our Association – he added.
During the General Meeting, the Members of the Association appointed Alfred Franke the Honorary President.
– It is an extremely pleasing gesture from my friends from SDCM, which I treat as a form of a symbolic vote of acceptance for all those years of my activity – said Alfred Franke.
Over two decades with Inter Cars
Since the beginning of his carrier, Krzysztof Soszyński has been connected with automotive spare parts and accessories market. A part of of Inter Cars since 2000. In 2001 he was appointed to be a Member of the Board of Inter Cars S.A., and in 2008 was appointed to be the Vice-President of the Board.
At Inter Cars S.A responsible for supervising the purchase process of trade goods and development of international sales strategy.
Before being appointed for the President of SDCM, Krzysztof Soszyński was a Member of the Management Board of this association.
