  • March: 3,559 pieces (+27.9%)
  • January – March: 8,598 pieces (+18%)

For comparison, below is information on new truck registrations in 2022.

In 2022, there were 36,061 registrations of new commercial vehicles with GVM of above 3.5t, an increase of sales by 5.9% compared to 2021. The highest percentage growth in sales was recorded in the specialized vehicles segment, which recorded an increase of 18.5% (1,338 units). Heavy goods vehicles are the second segment with the highest growth (up by 10.7%, 7,379 units), followed by truck tractors with a 5.2% year-on-year increase (26,188 units). Together, these three subcategories add up to a total increase by 6.8% compared to 2021 (34,905 units in total).




Ranking of car makers in terms of the number of trucks above  16 t GVM sold in 2022:

  • DAF    7,194 vehicles (a decrease by 2%, 22% share of the segment)
  • MERCEDES-BENZ    6,594 vehicles (an increase by 32%, 21% share of the segment)
  • VOLVO    6,236 vehicles (an increase by 13%, 19% share of the segment)
  • MAN    4,384 vehicles (a decrease by 5%, 14% share in the segment)
  • SCANIA    4,182 vehicles (a decrease by 9%, 13% share of the segment)
  • RENAULT    1,973 vehicles (an increase by 25.5%, 6.13% share of the segment)
  • IVECO    906 vehicles (a decrease by 12.2%, 2.82% share of the segment)
  • FORD TRUCKS    662 vehicles (an increase by 57.6%, 2% share of the segment)
