According to the Central Register of Vehicles and Drivers (CEPiK), 36,166 passenger cars were registered in Poland in December 2021, a 29.79% decrease (-15,346 units) compared to December a year before. In the whole of 2021, 446,680 passenger cars were registered in Poland, which is 4.27% more (+18,304 units) compared to 2020.
The title of the market leader was retained by Toyota. Skoda came in as the second and Volkswagen was the third one.
The Automotive Market Research Institute Samar forecasts that at the end of 2021 there should be around 450 thousand cars registered on the market. (5.0% year-on-year increase) and 72 thousand vans (20.8% increase).
