What is the situation with import of second-hand cars?
In December 2021, 70,245 imported second-hand cars and vans up to 3.5 tons GPW were registered in Poland, which is a decrease by 3% compared to December 2020.
A total of 939,906 imported cars were registered in 2021, an increase by 10.8% compared to 2020. The average age of a car imported last year was 12 years and 6 months. In the case of imported used cars, a systematic decline of interest in diesel engines is noticeable.
The average age of cars imported this year has already reached 12 years and 5 months, with 3 months less in November alone.
