Presented below you can find information on changes in Polish fleet of motor vehicles. As we know, the size and characteristics of the car fleet have a major impact on the development of the parts and garage services industry. In September this year, both new car registrations and imports fell. However, it is good to see that cumulatively, since the beginning of the year, the number of cars has increased - both new and used. Details to be found below.
Registrations of new cars - as at the end of September 2021.
Registrations 2021: September: -13.3%; January – September: +17.7%
According to the Central Register of Vehicles and Drivers (CEPiK), 33,087 passenger cars were registered in Poland in September 2021, a 13.26% decrease (5,060 units) compared to September 2020.
However, if we look at the data from the beginning of 2021, it turns out that new car registrations have increased compared to 2020. Indeed, cumulatively since the beginning of 2021, 347,306 passenger cars have been registered, an increase of 17.68% compared to the same period last year (i.e. +52,186 units).
