Import of second-hand cars in 2022:
March: -19.9%
January-March: -13%
According to data published by Samar, in March 2022, 72,661 imported second-hand cars and vans up to 3.5 tons GPW were registered in Poland, which is a decrease by 19.9% compared to the same period a year before.
The total number of imported car registrations in the first quarter of this year amounted to 197,958 units and is 13% lower than in the same period of 2021. As Samar points out, the cumulative result after three months is the lowest since 2014.
The average age of cars imported this year is 12.5 years.
